Weddings that feel like you
A friend once said to me when I was nervous about my own wedding, “Look, no matter what happens, if you start the day single and end the day married, then it’s a success.” I like to think that there’s a little more to it than that. Your wedding should feel like a true reflection of you. It should be what you want from your wedding, not what others think or say you should have.
So how will we do that? We’ll spend time together so that I can understand exactly what you want from your ceremony.
I think that it’s important to have fun, this is going to be one the best days of your life, so I’ll take the time to understand your story, your relationship and what matters to you, then create a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful and completely your own.
Weddings
It’s your wedding, you can have your wedding the way you want it — within reason of course, I don’t look that good in shorts for example. What we can do though is create a personal ceremony around your story, your relationship and the way you want to celebrate…shorts aside.
Elopements
Admit it, the first thing you think about when somebody says ‘Elopements’ is Gretna Green with a big sweaty blacksmith with a big beard and a leather apron banging a big hammer on an anvil. Mind you that does sound quite interesting…
Leather aprons aside, if you fancy having your wedding somewhere special or away from it all, whether it’s at the top of a mountain or on a beach (remember we are talking Scottish beaches — beautiful but cold) we can work together to create an intimate ceremony in beautiful places, created to be simple, personal and unforgettable.
Renewal of Vows
Whatever the reason for wanting to renew your vows, whether it’s to celebrate your journey together, reaffirm your commitment or whether you want to tie them down to another 20 years until their pension matures (just joking — but you never know) we can create a ceremony that reflects where you are now.
